In my own words.
My name is Ramy Stephanos. I grew up and spent most of my adult life in California before moving to Washington, DC, in 2020. This included a 3-year stint working in Sydney, Australia. After years of providing strategy consulting services, I established SF Advisor in 2023 to provide a framework to support more organizations.
As a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience helping businesses optimize growth and operational efficiency, I have provided these services as part of my day-to-day roles in corporate and start-up settings and for personal investment purposes. My diverse background spans various industries, focusing on high-growth environments (Enterprise, pre-IPO, to Series A startups) where I have successfully led initiatives to streamline operations, scale teams, and drive strategic planning.
Throughout my career and as a 2025 Executive MBA Graduate, I have honed my skills in identifying high-potential acquisition opportunities, conducting due diligence, and driving sustainable growth in small to mid-sized businesses. I thrive in environments where operational inefficiencies must be assessed and data-driven solutions implemented to unlock long-term success. Owned planning, forecasting governance, and territory design across federal, defense, intelligence, healthcare, and education segments, translating strategy into operating plans the field could actually execute.

First revenue operations hire at a Series B SaaS company. Built the commercial operating system from scratch (pricing, deal desk, forecasting, compensation, and renewals) and partnered with the founder-CEO to move the business from founder-led selling to a repeatable, scalable motion.

Strategy and operations leadership through Elastic's public-company growth phase. Built and led the Americas growth team, stood up a new sales segment from concept through scale, and ran a global motion across multiple regions and product lines.

Business Controller for global Sales, HR, and Recruiting. Owned planning and operational governance at hyperscaler scale, redesigned sales compensation and quota architecture, and built the finance-first analytical foundation that would later anchor every operating system that came after.
